The Arts program at LCS is designed to nurture students of all ages and abilities. Through a variety of media and processes, students are encouraged to discover their God given talents. We focus on the elements of art and principles of design to explore the work of master artists, while learning to express ourselves creatively. K-8th grade students attend art class once per week. Art lessons are designed to be appropriate for each grade level. Students experience a variety of materials and methods such as: clay, fiber art, drawing, painting, oil pastels, chalk pastels, recycled art, art metals and collage.
