Lebanon Christian High School

Spiritual Formation

Spiritual Growth at the Center
Spiritual formation at Lebanon Christian School is the lifelong work of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—transforming students to reflect the heart and character of Jesus. This journey happens through the power of the Holy Spirit and is nurtured in a Christ-centered community where students are encouraged to grow in their faith and live out God’s truth with purpose and conviction.

OUR MISSION

“Equipping students to walk in faith, live with purpose, and impact the world for Christ.”

WE BELIEVE

  • We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God;
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons:  Father, Son and the Holy Spirit;
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory;
  • We believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God as recorded in the Book of Genesis;
  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace alone is absolutely essential;
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life and they that are lost unto eternal damnation;
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

CORE VALUES

1. Develop Christian Leadership
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
—1 Timothy 4:12

At LCS, we encourage students to lead by example—boldly and humbly—reflecting Christ’s leadership in both word and action.

2. Promote Christian Character
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
—Matthew 7:12

Integrity, kindness, and respect are more than expectations—they are daily expressions of the character of Christ.

3. Serve Others
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
—Mark 10:45

Serving others is at the heart of who we are, shaping students to live lives of generosity, humility, and purpose.

4. Strive for Excellence
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
—Colossians 3:23

We pursue excellence not for recognition, but as an act of worship—offering our best to glorify God in all things.

5. Embrace Community
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
—Galatians 6:2

We foster a Christ-centered community where students are known, loved, and supported—growing together in faith and friendship.
